A brief biography, no more than 3 sentences
My name is Sihle Goniwe. The best way that i can describe myself is that i am a very impatient person but i'd believe that im kind. I enjoy spending time with my friends and sometimes I enjoy being alone and watching movies and I have a love for art and design.

What motivates you to perform in the group? [personally motivated or sense of responsibility toward the group]
The final end product of an assignment or project is my motivation. It drives me to work hard to the best of my ability in order to meet the requirements of the brief.
b. What is knitting teaching you about yourself?
Knitting has taught me to be very patient with myself and others because we dont all work in the same pace and we dont usually get things right the first time around so we need to practice all the time.
c. What are you learning about yourself by being in a group?
I have discovered that i dont really enjoy working in a group because sometimes there can be conflict or tasks are not executed the way I want which might be a result of poor communication.
d. how do you deal with people you find challenging?
I dont like telling people what their responsibilities are within the group, so I just tend to keep to myself and do what is needed.

These are some of a few stitches that where done by one of our group member nchawaka: top left is a dlb R on each side top left is the two line plain, three middle lines are p and rp 2 lines pl. the second left is a dlb M and P. the last left is a P and dlb M, and rp. |

Biography: Hlumelo
1. I’m Hlumelo Joxo im 19 years old studying surface design in Cape Peninsula
University of Technology (CPUT). I am a
person who likes having fun and laughter and not stressing too much about life.
v The connection and the communicating
with the people in my group makes me feel comfortable I even have some challenging things that are quiet difficult to my
ability and seeing my group doing them motivates me to push harder than what I
can actually do but I am willing
to learn and overcoming my weaknesses.

Knitting teaches me that I have so
many hidden skills within myself but I just have to find them and I found them
and one of them is knitting.

i It shows my communicating skills
and the skill of doing things as a collective and I get to feel all the
pressure of being in a group but I don’t handle it alone I have people to
actually help me to tackle these issues.

I get to sit down with them and talk
with them in a more one on one discussion that needs more listening and
actually get to find out more about them and what could be the cause of them
being challenge.

Biography: Mercia Carstens
Hi my name is Mercia Carstens . I am a first year student at CPUT. I study surface design. I see myself as a friendly, outgoing and lovable person. I am loving this project even though it takes a lot of my time.

motivates you to perform in the group? [personally motivated or sense of

Working with people is my passion.
I am an extrovert so working in a group comes naturally.
What is
knitting teaching you about yourself?
That working hard on something
can give you a beautiful outcome.
What are
you learning about yourself by being in a group?
That I am a very patient person.
how do
you deal with people you find challenging?
By not getting angry and not let
stupid things bother you.
Bio about me: Nchawaka kanyama
My name is Nchawaka, Am a people’s person, love socializing,
very willing to learn different and new things every day. My mother has
patience but I don’t and I try ma level best to be as patient as possible
though it’s a virtual I don’t have.

a.What motivates you to perform in the group? [Personally
motivated or sense of responsibility toward the group]
I love to work in a group because personally it helps me to
be able to connect with different people, to learn how they understand and
behave towards certain matters and it is believed that two brains or more
brains is better than one.
b.What is knitting teaching you about yourself?
To learn how to be patient with myself and other people too.
c.What are you learning about yourself by being in a group?
That am able to co-operate with different individuals because I
know that when one group member is not co-operating, it lets the whole group down.
